I am a bus driver during the week but at the weekends i can be found at the track. My local track is Lafayette Motorsports Park, Lafayette, New York about a twenty minute drive from my home in Liverpool NY. With the help of this blog, I would like to share my passion with people near and far for kart racing, motorsports in general. My name is Marty Barker and I'm a Centro bus driver and kart racer.
Today you can still see families at local kart racing tracks all over America. Sons & daughters racing, men & women, even grandfathers!!! I fall into the later category as a sixty five year old man. I may not be the fastest but i’m sure I can keep up with the younger racers in my class of racing. I currently race in a Senior Sportsman Class, basically ages from 15 and up.
